Today, the Golden Globes® announced that Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall will present the nominees for the 83rd Annual Golden Globes® on Monday, December 8, 2025. All 28 categories will be unveiled at 8:15 a.m. ET/5:15 a.m. PT on CBSNews.com (click here to download the CBS News app), with 11 exclusive categories revealed at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT only on “CBS Mornings.” Viewers can also stream the announcement live on the CBS News YouTube and TikTok channels. The nominees will be highlighted across Golden Globes® social media accounts as they are announced, with the complete list of nominees available on the Golden Globes website immediately following the announcement.

The 83rd Annual Golden Globes®, the first major award show of the season, will be hosted by acclaimed Golden Globe, GRAMMY® and Emmy®-nominated comedian and actress Nikki Glaser, and will air on Sunday, January 11, 2026 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.*.

Multi-talented actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director Marlon Wayans and actress, philanthropist, and Air Force veteran Skye P. Marshall will present the nominees across all 28 award categories, including one new category: Best Podcast. Wayans, whose dynamic career spans film, television and stand-up comedy, has amassed more than $736 million in domestic box office sales and over $1 billion globally. He is currently on the road with his “Wild Child” tour, recently appeared in Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions psychological sports horror HIM, and recently wrapped production on Scary Movie 6 for Miramax and Paramount Pictures. Wayans wrote, produced and stars in the film, slated for 2026. Marshall has built a career with her commanding performances playing vibrant characters in both film and television. Currently, she stars opposite Academy Award winner Kathy Bates on CBS’ highly anticipated one-hour drama “Matlock” as powerhouse Olympia Lawrence and is also known for her roles as Mambo Marie in parts three and four of the hit Netflix series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”; and as Kara Fowdy in seasons one and two of The CW’s “Black Lightning” series, based on the DC Comics franchise.

New York, NY | October 29, 2025 – Last night, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) hosted its annual star-studded WWD Honors ceremony and dinner. Timed for the first evening of WWD’s Apparel and Retail CEO Summit at Cipriani South Street in New York City, the WWD Honors program celebrates retail leaders and design luminaries who have performed at the highest business level and made immeasurable contributions to the industry over the course of the past year.

The ceremony awarded Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti with the evening’s highest honor, the John B. Fairchild Honor accepted by Mr. Giammetti and presented by Anne Hathaway. The Honor recognizes Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti’s enduring influence and impact on the global fashion industry. Past winners of the John B. Previously serving as Head of Industry for Travel, Garber collaborated with hospitality companies on strategic partnerships that spanned the PMC ecosystem. She brings a solutions-oriented approach that extends beyond traditional media to include events, loyalty programs, and commercial integrations — creating meaningful connections between brands and audiences.

Earlier in her career, she held strategy and business development roles at Hyatt, Wyndham, Ritz-Carlton, and Bank of America. She earned her BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Today, the Academy of Country Music (ACM), Prime Video, and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) revealed the latest additions to the superstar performance lineup set to take the stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards Presented by Carnival Cruise Line, including three former ACM Entertainer of the Year winners and three 2025 ACM Entertainer of the Year nominees. Rolling Stone Presents: Amplified brings the history of rock ‘n’ roll to life with a dynamic mix of music and visuals. The show is a guided tour through the story of revolutionary music and the changes it brought. Amplified draws from rare live performance and behind-the-scenes footage, never-before-seen moments, exclusive portrait sessions, album art, and posters, delivering one of the most comprehensive collections of rock ‘n’ roll imagery ever assembled.

Amplified includes the work of 500 photographers and film directors - like Mark Seliger, Danny Clinch, Lynn Goldsmith, Anton Corbijn, Bob Gruen, Jim Marshall, Neil Preston, Janette Beckman, and Pooneh Ghana - who took risks and pushed boundaries, just like the musicians they immortalized.

Rolling Stone Presents: Amplified aligns with ARTECHOUSE's commitment to connecting the public with innovative, immersive art experiences and using its cutting-edge technology platform for cultural and artistic storytelling, offering visitors a dynamic, multi-sensory journey through the worlds of music, art, and technology.

Adapted by ARTECHOUSE Studio for the New York location, Amplified was originally produced by Illuminarium Experiences and created by Brand New World Studios in partnership with Rolling Stone. Brad Siegel, whose transformative leadership at TNT, TCM and Cartoon Network shaped contemporary media, and Rolling Stone veteran Jodi Peckman are Executive Producers. Peckman also serves as Photography and Film Curator. Meghan Benson is Director of Photography. Joe Levy is Executive Editor and Music Supervisor. Design and Visual Narrative are by Pentagram principals Abbott Miller and Emily Oberman. Motion Design is by Good Company. Sound Design is by Academy Award winner Peter Lehman. Today, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the nominations for the “2025 American Music Awards” (AMAs), which will kick off summer with host Jennifer Lopez live from Las Vegas on Monday, May 26. Promising to be a night of unforgettable performances, including from Lopez herself, the 51st AMAs will air live coast to coast at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.*

Fan voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAsInstagram profile in all award categories. Voting closes on Thursday, May 15 at 11:59:59pm PT, with the exception of Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year, which will remain open through the first 30 minutes of the AMAs broadcast.

The “2025 American Music Awards” winners are voted entirely by fans. Nominees are based on key fan interactions - as reflected on the Billboard charts - including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay and tour grosses. These measurements are tracked by Billboard and Luminate, the entertainment industry's most trusted data partner, and cover the data tracking eligibility period of March 22, 2024 through March 20, 2025.

“2025 American Music Awards” Nominee Highlights:

  • Kendrick Lamar, who already has three American Music Awards to his name, leads this year’s nominations with a total of 10. He is nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“GNX”), Song of the Year (“Not Like Us”), Collaboration of the Year (“Luther” with SZA), Favorite Music Video (“Not Like Us”), Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Hip-Hop Album (“GNX”), Favorite Hip-Hop Song (x3 - “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, “Not Like Us,” and “Luther” with SZA). Taking place May 15th, 2025, the event will feature inspiring keynote addresses, dynamic panels, and vibrant networking opportunities. California Day will spotlight the state’s role as a filmmaking hub and leader in entertainment innovation, celebrating its thriving creative scene and fostering international collaborations.

In partnership with The American Pavilion, IndieWire will program a keynote address dedicated to “The Future of Filmmaking in California: Innovation, Creativity, and Global Impact." The discussion will center around California's evolving role in the entertainment industry. Topics will include the intersection of technology and storytelling, the state's position as a creative epicenter, and the importance of sustainability in production. Speaker details will be announced in the coming weeks. Additional panels will examine Hollywood’s role in the global entertainment landscape, along with discussions on technology and the future of film production in California.

California Day will further promote the state’s film industry, elevating its status as the premier location for filmmaking while attracting international collaborations and new projects. The event will foster connections between global filmmakers and California’s industry leaders, building bridges for co-productions and business opportunities. With its vibrant creative communities and ongoing influence on entertainment, technology, and culture, California’s legacy will be celebrated throughout the event.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) announced the promotion of two accomplished leaders from within. Liz Culley has been elevated to Senior Vice President, Sales and Brand Strategy, and Debra Fink has been named Vice President, Entertainment and Special Projects. Both Culley and Fink are based in Los Angeles.

In her new role, Culley will add oversight of video, social and audio product development to her scope in addition to consumer sales and strategy. She will report to EVP, Publisher, Lori O’Connor.  

“Liz is a dynamo,” said O’Connor. “Her creativity and extensive experience across content, sales, and product equip her with a unique skill set to create and execute custom programs that bridge video and social platforms. She will be instrumental in driving THR’s digital-first growth and enhancing audience engagement.”

Culley’s career spans more than 15 years across the entertainment and media sectors. Before joining THR, she was the executive director of FYC and entertainment sales at Condé Nast, where she forged advertising and partnership strategies for major studios, capitalizing on Condé Nast’s prominent events such as The Met Gala, Vogue World and The New Yorker Festival. She is also credited with enhancing Vanity Fair’s FYC experiential offerings creating content that resonated with both audiences and advertisers, notably by bringing the awards podcast Little Gold Men to live audiences.  

She began her career as a producer and a journalist, creating bespoke digital-first series and concert series with top music and theatrical talent for media companies Myspace, Popsugar, San Francisco Chronicle, YouTube, the NBA and X Games. Prior to Condè Nast, Culley was a senior sales executive at Bustle Digital Group. During her career, Culley has led teams responsible for marketing, digital production, video, audio, and live streaming.  

A seasoned executive, Debra Fink’s augmented scope includes collaboration with marketing and sales to develop integrated partnerships across THR’s trade initiatives and other special projects in addition to her existing sales responsibilities.      

“Debra’s extensive industry knowledge and relationships are unparalleled,” said O’Connor.  “I’m thrilled to have Debra take on this challenge and cannot wait to see what she brings to the role.”    

With almost three decades in the business, Fink recently served as THR’s Managing Director, Entertainment and has been integral to THR since the re-launch in 2010. She is a strategic and savvy sales leader and brings a fresh perspective to help drive success for clients with new and innovative concepts across multiple platforms and branded content solutions.

Prior to THR, Debra was Executive Vice President at Screen International where she led the strategy, sales and implementation of Screen’s award season franchise building the business into a global success. During her time at Screen, she also led an international film industry mission to Beijing, hosted by the Chinese government to explore co-production.
