Today, Billboard, the global authority in music, announced that tickets are officially on sale for the Live Music Summit Presented by VENU, returning Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1 Hotel West Hollywood. The one-day event will bring together top executives, artists, and innovators from across the live entertainment industry for panels, networking opportunities, and a special awards ceremony. Both the summit and awards will be programmed by Billboard Senior Editor Eric Renner Brown.

This year’s summit will feature a dynamic lineup of panels covering the most pressing topics in live entertainment including:

  • No Bots Allowed: Inside Chappell Roan's Fan-First Ticketing Strategy (Sponsored by AXS): When Chappell Roan announced her fall 2025 pop-up shows, she made it her mission to get tickets for the concerts into the hands of real fans. Partnering with AXS, she used the ticketing leader’s innovative tool, Fair AXS, to verify buyers – and stop bots and scalpers from hijacking the moment. In this panel, Dean Dewulf (AXS), Lauren McKinney (Foundations Artist Management), and Kristen Mitchell (Wasserman Nashville) will unpack how an artist’s vision, management strategy, and ticketing technology came together to protect Chappell's community and set a new standard for fan-first onsales.
  • The Women Leading The Booking Space (Sponsored by Allegiant Stadium): Today, it increasingly feels like women have broken the agency space's glass ceiling, yet women agents continue to face gender-specific challenges like navigating motherhood in a rapidly paced job. In this panel, four women whose careers are testaments to greater inclusivity in this sector – Jenna Adler (CAA), Marsha Vlasic (Independent Artist Group), and Elisa Vazzana (UTA) – will discuss navigating the live business, their clients' touring strategies and the status of that glass ceiling.

  • Building Touring's Sustainable Future With Maggie Baird: As Billie Eilish and Finneas have become leaders at the intersection of music and sustainability, so has their mother, Maggie Baird. Dating back to the earliest days of her kids' music careers, Baird has helped them to take an eco-conscious approach, and in 2020, she founded Support + Feed, which aims to mitigate climate change and increase food security by increasing accessibility to plant-based foods, including at large-scale events like concerts. Here, Baird will reflect on her work in the green touring space – and look ahead at the work that remains.

  • How Warped Tour Built A Lasting Legacy – And Returned In 2025: For decades, Warped Tour was a proving ground for punk, emo, and alt-rock artists – and an annual place where those fan communities could gather. In 2025, six years after Warped wrapped its initial 25-year run, the festival returned with three two-day events in California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Here, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, Vans executive Steve Van Doren, Honey Revenge's Devin Papadol, and Pennywise's Fletcher Dragge look back on the event's legacy – and why it remains a touchstone today.

  • Spotlight Conversation – The Rise of Rauw Alejandro: In recent years, Rauw Alejandro has become one of the most in-demand Latin touring acts – and on his Cosa Nuestra World Tour this year, he took his high-concept stage production to another level. In this spotlight conversation, Rauw Alejandro and Live Nation SVP of global touring Hans Schafer will discuss the reggaeton artist's emergence as one of the live sector's most sought-after stars.

The day will also feature a networking lunch sponsored by AEG, an evening cocktail hour presented by Live Nation, and an awards ceremony recognizing leaders and innovators in live entertainment.

“Billboard’s Live Music Summit is an exclusive opportunity for concert-industry leaders, touring legends and rising stars to come together and shape the future of live entertainment,” said Hannah Karp, Editor-in-Chief, Billboard. “We’re thrilled to convene such a dynamic and powerful group of talent in Los Angeles this fall.”

Sponsors for the 2025 Live Music Summit include VENU, AEG Presents, Live Nation, Allegiant Stadium, AXS, Moody Center, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Tacoma Dome, and Gila River Resorts and Casinos.

SheKnows announced today the launch of How to Raise Adults, a new content series offering insights from teens on navigating the complex transition from adolescence to adulthood. Covering mental health, financial literacy, technology, relationships, and social trends, the series offers an authentic look into teen perspectives and the issues shaping the next generation. As part of the How to Raise Adults series, SheKnows is proud to partner with BetterHelp to spotlight accessible mental health resources that help teens build lifelong well-being.

Created in collaboration with SheKnows editors, recognized thought leaders, and the SheKnows Teen Council, the series combines expert guidance with teen-driven insights. The Council comprises 120 contributors ages 15–19, and to date has published over 50 articles and videos, reaching 8 million parents nationwide.

"One of our goals in establishing the SheKnows Teen Council was to include the kids in a parenting conversation that often lacks their voices," said SHE Media Chief Content Officer, Cristina Velocci.

Key Insights from the Teen Council

  • Money Talks Louder When It’s Self-Made: Teens admire men who build their own wealth. In a Teen Council focus group, 100% of participants respect Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk as leading sources of influence.
  • Trusted on Tech and Wealth, Not Politics: Elon Musk’s political credibility may be questioned by teens, but his advice on technology and wealth earns strong trust.

“I completely trust him. He’s like self-made. With a lot of rich people, you don’t know how they have their money. But you know that he was smart and had his own plan.” – Clive, 16

—“Majority of people trust him with all of their information, whether they want to or not.” – Olivia, 17

  • Parenting vs. Perspective: Many teens feel their parents’ worries about phones and AI are out of touch. They recognize social media’s downsides but find real-world experiences far more rewarding.
  • Seeking Support: 67% of 120 Teen Council members surveyed turn to friends and therapists over their dads for guidance.

SheKnows will unveil the full set of findings in a special report this fall.

Expert Perspectives

Through collaborations and interviews with leading experts and recognized thought leaders, the series equips parents with strategies to nurture resilience, confidence, and long-term well-being, helping to set children up for success.

“Your job as a parent is to help your kids figure out who they are, and you do that by really being curious about who they are.” – Mel Robbins, #1 New York Times bestselling author and award-winning podcast host

The full How to Raise Adults series, featuring expert guidance and teen-informed insights, is available at https://www.sheknows.com/p/how-to-raise-adults/

Today, Billboard andAmazon announced that they have teamed up with comedian/musical improviser, Reggie Watts to present “MuSick: Live fromReggie Watts’ Couch,” a special activation and event with Amazon Pharmacy andAmazon One Medical during weekend one of Coachella.

The activation is based on a simple premise: Amazon is making healthcare less painful. When Watts wakes up on festival day feeling awful, he turns to Amazon One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy to chat with his care team and get his meds delivered even while he’s traveling. Feeling inspired by this stress-free turn of events, he wonders what else might be possible. Reggie will roll out - literally - taking his motorized couch on a spin around Palm Springs and blasting his one-of-a-kind “MuSick” for all to hear. He will eventually pull up at the Ace Hotel where festival-goers will get to have their own wellness-inspired experience with Reggie’s “sick” beats serving as their soundtrack.

Watts shared, “We started to play with all the sounds we make when we’re sick, like coughing, sneezing, and wheezing. Before we knew it, we had created what we now call, MuSick. By simply adding a beat and a splash of humor, we were able to make something that made being sick a little less painful.”

“We are thrilled to join forces with Amazon and Reggie for this exciting activation,” said Dana Droppo, Chief Brand Officer, Billboard. “These festivals are a vibrant celebration of music and culture, and this partnership elevates that experience in a truly engaging way. We’re confident that fans will not only love what we’re creating but will walk away feeling connected and deeply immersed in the spirit of the music.”

"At Amazon, we want to make healthcare easier, affordable, and more personalized for everyone. Our aim is simple: we're working to make it more convenient for patients to see provider sand get their prescriptions filled, without the usual hassle and stress,"the Amazon representative explained. "We're spreading the word through fun, quirky ads across TV, digital platforms, radio, and social media. The ads show how people can get care and meds when they need it, through fast pharmacy delivery and easy-to-use 24/7 telehealth services. We've also teamed up withBillboard for a special event to showcase how we're making healthcare less of a hassle. Reggie's innovative and improvisational style puts an entertaining spin on everything - he has transformed common illness symptoms into songs, turning typically unpleasant experiences into moments that listeners can both relate to and laugh about."

The event will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs andwill be open to the public. Neil Frances will get the party started, as guests enjoy giveaways, cocktails, mocktails and more!

Telemundo and Billboard announced international superstars Anitta, Chiquis, and Olga Tañón as the first group of trailblazing artists and honorees for the third annual Billboard Latin Women in Music special, airing live exclusively on Telemundo on April 24 at 9pm/8c. Hosted by legendary Mexican artist and 2024 “Lifetime Achievement” honoree, Ana Bárbara, the two-hour event will celebrate the groundbreaking women shaping the future of Latin music. The show will also be available on the Telemundo app, Universo and Peacock and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

The initial list of artists that will be honored this year in recognition of their unwavering contributions to Latin music includes:

Global sensation Anitta will receive the 2025 “Vanguard Award” for her groundbreaking artistic achievements and her ability to break barriers, challenge norms, and inspire future generations. The first artist to receive this recognition, she has demonstrated exceptional talent, perseverance and had an impact on shaping the future of music with her unique voice. Anitta has earned eight career entries on the overall Billboard Latin Airplay chart, with two breaking into the top 10. Among her standout achievements is “Machika,” which claimed the No. 1 spot for one week in 2018. Her latest entry, “La Tóxica,” reached No. 2 in September 2024 and marks a significant milestone as her first venture into regional Mexican music. A triple threat who has had global hits in Spanish, English and Portuguese, Annita is celebrated for transcending cultural and musical boundaries, bringing funk carioca to international acclaim. Her bold musical blends with reggaeton, pop, and R&B have created a globally recognized sound that resonates far beyond the borders of Brazil, earning her recognition across the world.

Regional Mexican superstar Chiquis will be honored with the “Impact Award” for her extraordinary contributions to the music industry and society. A three-time Latin GRAMMY® winner (2020, 2022 & 2024) for the Best Banda Music Album and the only woman nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for Best Mexican Music Album in 2025, she has redefined the genre by blending traditional Latin sounds with modern influences while staying deeply connected to her heritage. Beyond her musical achievements, Chiquis is a visionary entrepreneur, media mogul, and advocate. As the founder of Busy Bee Productions, she has successfully launched two hit TV series, while her acclaimed podcast Chiquis and Chill has captivated audiences for four successful seasons. Through Boss Bee Nation, she empowers and uplifts her community, championing causes that drive meaningful change. With 12 career entries on the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart, including three top 10 hits, and two No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart, Chiquis continues to break barriers and set new standards. Her influence extends far beyond music—she is a cultural icon, a fearless leader, and an inspiration for generations of women who dare to dream big and defy expectations.

Latin music powerhouse Olga Tañón is receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for her outstanding contributions to Latin music over her iconic 38-year career. Known for her powerful voice and infectious energy, she has left a permanent mark on the Latin music scene with her fusion of salsa, merengue, and pop. Throughout her career, she has earned 30 Billboard Latin Music Awards, sold millions of albums worldwide, and become a symbol of strength, resilience, and empowerment in the Latin community. Her musical versatility, passion, and ability to connect with diverse audiences have made her an enduring icon. Since her breakthrough on the Billboard charts in 1993, Olga Tañón has solidified her place as a trailblazer in tropical music. She has amassed 38 career entries on the Hot Latin Songs chart—the most for any female tropical artist. Of these, 13 have reached the top 10, with three climbing to No. 1, including "Así Es La Vida,” which spent two weeks at No. 1 in 2003. Her dominance extends to the Tropical Albums chart, where she holds an impressive record of 18 top 10 albums—the most for any female artist in the tropical genre.

More honorees and performers for this year will be announced soon. Last year's distinguished recipients included Angela Aguilar for “Musical Dynasty,” Ana Bárbara for “Lifetime Achievement,” Camila Cabello with the “Global Impact” award, Gloria Estefan as “Legend,” Karol G as “Woman of the Year, Kany García as “Spirit of Change,” La India with the “Pioneer” award, and Kali Uchisas “Rising Star.”

March 10, 2025

Today, global music authority Billboard announced that Doechii will receive the prestigious 2025 Woman of the Year Award at the Women in Music event taking place on Saturday, March 29 at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA. Hosted by Emmy® nominee, Laverne Cox, the star-studded evening will air LIVE on VIZIO WatchFree+ at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET and honor the most influential women in music spanning artists and industry leaders with inspiring performances, awards, and tributes.

The Tampa-born, L.A.-based rapper/singer/etc. is one of the most dynamic of her generation, as compelling delivering blunt bars over boom bap as she is cooing affirmations over astral jazz, barking orders over blistering house, or seducing over a radio-conquering R&B jam. In many ways — commercially, critically, personally — Bites is the culmination of the Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records innovator’s wild rise. In 2023 alone: Doechii scored her first RIAA Platinum® plaque and Billboard Hot 100 hit with the viral, “No Scrubs”-sampling “What It Is (Block Boy).” She turned heads again with Eurodance/rap hybrid “Alter Ego,” featuring JT. Next, she played Coachella’s main stage, popped in to perform on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and hit the road with Doja Cat. Before the year was out, she was named a RISING STAR among Women in Music by Billboard (joining Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, et al.), and showed off her acting chops in A24 film Earth Mama. But that was then. More recently, Kendrick Lamar co-signed Doechii as “the hardest out,” Killer Mike said she’s “going to change music forever,” Tyler, the Creator tapped her for Chromakopia, Variety’s Hitmakers gave her the Hip-Hop Disrupter award, and countless critical institutions put Bites on their best-of-2024 lists. She also revealed herself to be a performer par excellence, not only selling out a headlining US/UK/EU tour, but also bringing complex choreo to Colbert, a 10-piece band to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, and a truly jaw-dropping production to the 2025 GRAMMY Awards (where she was also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best New Artist). Ultimately, though, what’s most impressive about Doechii isn’t simply that she excels at literally every form she explores. It’s that she is at home in her artistry, wherever it takes her.

"After receiving the Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award in 2023,  Doechii is taking pop culture by storm, this year becoming the third woman in history to win a Grammy best rap album, and dazzling fans of every musical genre with her breathtaking performances, ultra-candid lyrics and utterly unique sound, style and spirit,” said Hannah Karp, Editor-in-Chief of Billboard. "We are thrilled to celebrate Doechii and cheer on her continued success."

Billboard’s Woman of the Year Award has become one of the music industry’s highest honors. Past recipients include Karol G, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Doechii won the Rising Star award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event. She is just the third woman to progress from the Rising Star award to Woman of the Year, following Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

Doechii joins previously announced lineup of powerhouse women shaping the music landscape.  aespa will receive the Group of the Year Award; Ángela Aguilar will receive the Breakthrough Award; Erykah Badu will receive the Icon Award; GloRilla will receive the Powerhouse Award; Gracie Abrams will receive the Songwriter of the Year Award; JENNIE will receive the Global Force Award; Megan Moroney will receive the Rulebreaker Award presented by Crown Royal Whisky; Meghan Trainor will receive the Hitmaker Award; Muni Long will receive the Rising Star Award presented by Honda Stage; and Tyla will receive the Impact Award presented by Bose

Newly announced presenters Becky G and Suki Waterhouse will join previously announced presenters Julia Michaels, Kali Uchis, Madison Beer, Mickey Guyton, Summer Walker, Tanner Adell, and Zara Larsson. Previously announced performers include Ángela Aguilar, aespa, GloRilla, Gracie Abrams, Megan Moroney, Muni Long and Tyla, with additional performers and presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition, as Billboard’s global partners have expanded Women in Music with new events launched around the world, ANNA, named Billboard Italy Woman of the Year at its inaugural ceremony, and Charlotte Cardin, honored as the latest Billboard Canada Woman of the Year by Billboard Canada, will be celebrated as Global Women of the Year.

VIZIO WatchFree+ will be the exclusive home to the Billboard Women in Music 2025 live channel and on-demand collection from March 17 – April 5, with the LIVE show airing free on March 29 at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on VIZIO TVs and in the VIZIO mobile app. The channel and on demand collection will give viewers an inside look at the inspiring women artists shaping the music industry, featuring in-depth interviews, in-studio sessions with artists, episodic series, and more.

VIZIO TV owners can watch Billboard Women in Music 2025 and the LIVE event by opening the WatchFree+ app on their TV.  For those who do not have a VIZIO TV, anyone can download the free VIZIO mobile app to their mobile device, click on the WatchFree+ button in the bottom row menu, and tune into the Billboard Women in Music 2025 channel.
