June 11, 2026: New York, NY: Today, two of the art world's leading authorities, Artforum and ARTnews, unveiled the launch of the first ever Art Week NYC, set to take place November 11–14, 2026, in New York City. This inaugural four-day event invites collectors, patrons, and art enthusiasts to experience the city’s vibrant art landscape through gallery openings, exhibition walkthroughs, artist talks, public programming, neighborhood walking tours, and retail experiences, all woven into the fabric of New York’s most distinct neighborhoods and cultural institutions.

Highlights include three days of openings and activations with gallery participants invited by Artforum, organized by neighborhood.  A full day of public programming, hosted jointly by the New Museum and Artforum, will spotlight artists, curators, writers, and other key voices discussing the forces shaping art and culture today. Additionally, ARTnews will host editor led gallery tours throughout each neighborhood and present conversations exploring the top issues driving the art world today. Art Week NYC will center around a dynamic Midtown hub programmed by ARTnews and Art in America, featuring sponsor activations and conversations with luminaries and leading figures from the art world and beyond.

“We are thrilled to finally bring a dedicated Art Week to the city focused on the galleries. New York City has long been a beacon of creativity and innovation and is home to an unparalleled ecosystem of galleries of all scales with an incredible breadth of expertise,” says Danielle McConnell, Publisher of Artforum. “We’re profoundly grateful to the galleries, museums, and cultural partners for opening their doors to welcome audiences into the spaces where art is best experienced. This week is a celebration of their commitment to keeping art at the center of our city’s cultural heartbeat.”

“Art is more important to more people than ever before, and I’m excited to see Art Week activate the city and its cultural institutions,” said Sarah Douglas, Editor-in-Chief of ARTnews and Art in America. “Every day ARTnews and Art in America bring audiences news from and commentary on the global art world; Art Week will remind us that that world is, at its heart, about community.”

“New York and its incredible institutions, like the New Museum, are offering something truly unprecedented,” says Luke Bahrenburg, President, Art and Luxury Group, Penske Media Corporation. “For one transformative week, we’re inviting art enthusiasts not just to view art but to engage with the ideas, creators, and communities shaping its future. We’re building a platform where deeper dialogues about art and its broader cultural connections can thrive.”

Today, Rolling Stone announced the launch of its first-ever festival, Stateside, a boutique live event and content experience set in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. Anchored by a flagship event on the 4th of July at Hutton Brickyards’ riverfront property in Kingston, NY, Stateside will celebrate the music, food, art, and culture that are synonymous with American culture. Attendees can expect to channel the timeless spirit of Americana - hot dogs, fireworks, local food vendors, an artisan market, guitars, and great days under the summer sun.

Fresh off the release of his fourth studio album, “The Great Divide”, and upcoming SOLD-OUT national stadium tour this summer, 2x Grammy-nominated multi-platinum superstar Noah Kahan will headline Rolling Stone’s inaugural event. Stateside will feature a full day of live performances across indie, folk, pop, and country, including Gigi Perez, Sydney Rose, Arcy Drive, Bo Staloch, Devon Gilfillian, Derby, Calder Allen, and Michaela Anne. At just under 4,000 in total capacity, festivalgoers are sure to enjoy a unique and intimate experience. The evening will culminate with a celebratory fireworks show immediately after Noah’s set.

Guests who purchase VIP and Platinum tickets will enjoy premium perks like dedicated entry and bars, premium viewing, air-conditioned restrooms, and more.

Select VIP and Platinum attendees will have the opportunity to make a weekend out of their Stateside experience. In addition to the main event on Saturday, July 4th, the festival will feature a limited amount of exclusive weekend-long programming and hospitality packages, complete with riverfront luxury accommodations at the property. Beginning July 3rd through the morning of July 5th, on-property guests will have access to curated dining, entertainment, and wellness experiences.

Stateside Festival is proud to partner with Boston Beer Company to bring Dogfish Head, Sun Cruiser, and Angry Orchard to this year’s event. In partnership with Rolling Stone, Dogfish Head is working on a special product launch for Stateside, with additional details to be announced soon.

The festival will also feature Scout Motors as the official automotive partner. Telemundo and Billboard announced international superstars Anitta, Chiquis, and Olga Tañón as the first group of trailblazing artists and honorees for the third annual Billboard Latin Women in Music special, airing live exclusively on Telemundo on April 24 at 9pm/8c. Hosted by legendary Mexican artist and 2024 “Lifetime Achievement” honoree, Ana Bárbara, the two-hour event will celebrate the groundbreaking women shaping the future of Latin music. The show will also be available on the Telemundo app, Universo and Peacock and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

The initial list of artists that will be honored this year in recognition of their unwavering contributions to Latin music includes:

Global sensation Anitta will receive the 2025 “Vanguard Award” for her groundbreaking artistic achievements and her ability to break barriers, challenge norms, and inspire future generations. The first artist to receive this recognition, she has demonstrated exceptional talent, perseverance and had an impact on shaping the future of music with her unique voice. Anitta has earned eight career entries on the overall Billboard Latin Airplay chart, with two breaking into the top 10. Among her standout achievements is “Machika,” which claimed the No. 1 spot for one week in 2018. Her latest entry, “La Tóxica,” reached No. 2 in September 2024 and marks a significant milestone as her first venture into regional Mexican music. A triple threat who has had global hits in Spanish, English and Portuguese, Annita is celebrated for transcending cultural and musical boundaries, bringing funk carioca to international acclaim. Her bold musical blends with reggaeton, pop, and R&B have created a globally recognized sound that resonates far beyond the borders of Brazil, earning her recognition across the world.

Regional Mexican superstar Chiquis will be honored with the “Impact Award” for her extraordinary contributions to the music industry and society. A three-time Latin GRAMMY® winner (2020, 2022 & 2024) for the Best Banda Music Album and the only woman nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for Best Mexican Music Album in 2025, she has redefined the genre by blending traditional Latin sounds with modern influences while staying deeply connected to her heritage. Beyond her musical achievements, Chiquis is a visionary entrepreneur, media mogul, and advocate. As the founder of Busy Bee Productions, she has successfully launched two hit TV series, while her acclaimed podcast Chiquis and Chill has captivated audiences for four successful seasons. Through Boss Bee Nation, she empowers and uplifts her community, championing causes that drive meaningful change. With 12 career entries on the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart, including three top 10 hits, and two No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart, Chiquis continues to break barriers and set new standards. Her influence extends far beyond music—she is a cultural icon, a fearless leader, and an inspiration for generations of women who dare to dream big and defy expectations.

Latin music powerhouse Olga Tañón is receiving the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for her outstanding contributions to Latin music over her iconic 38-year career. Known for her powerful voice and infectious energy, she has left a permanent mark on the Latin music scene with her fusion of salsa, merengue, and pop. Throughout her career, she has earned 30 Billboard Latin Music Awards, sold millions of albums worldwide, and become a symbol of strength, resilience, and empowerment in the Latin community. Her musical versatility, passion, and ability to connect with diverse audiences have made her an enduring icon. Since her breakthrough on the Billboard charts in 1993, Olga Tañón has solidified her place as a trailblazer in tropical music. She has amassed 38 career entries on the Hot Latin Songs chart—the most for any female tropical artist. Of these, 13 have reached the top 10, with three climbing to No. 1, including "Así Es La Vida,” which spent two weeks at No. 1 in 2003. Her dominance extends to the Tropical Albums chart, where she holds an impressive record of 18 top 10 albums—the most for any female artist in the tropical genre.

March 10, 2025

Today, global music authority Billboard announced that Doechii will receive the prestigious 2025 Woman of the Year Award at the Women in Music event taking place on Saturday, March 29 at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA. Hosted by Emmy® nominee, Laverne Cox, the star-studded evening will air LIVE on VIZIO WatchFree+ at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET and honor the most influential women in music spanning artists and industry leaders with inspiring performances, awards, and tributes.

The Tampa-born, L.A.-based rapper/singer/etc. is one of the most dynamic of her generation, as compelling delivering blunt bars over boom bap as she is cooing affirmations over astral jazz, barking orders over blistering house, or seducing over a radio-conquering R&B jam. In many ways — commercially, critically, personally — Bites is the culmination of the Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records innovator’s wild rise. In 2023 alone: Doechii scored her first RIAA Platinum® plaque and Billboard Hot 100 hit with the viral, “No Scrubs”-sampling “What It Is (Block Boy).” She turned heads again with Eurodance/rap hybrid “Alter Ego,” featuring JT. Next, she played Coachella’s main stage, popped in to perform on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and hit the road with Doja Cat. Before the year was out, she was named a RISING STAR among Women in Music by Billboard (joining Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, et al.), and showed off her acting chops in A24 film Earth Mama. But that was then. More recently, Kendrick Lamar co-signed Doechii as “the hardest out,” Killer Mike said she’s “going to change music forever,” Tyler, the Creator tapped her for Chromakopia, Variety’s Hitmakers gave her the Hip-Hop Disrupter award, and countless critical institutions put Bites on their best-of-2024 lists. She also revealed herself to be a performer par excellence, not only selling out a headlining US/UK/EU tour, but also bringing complex choreo to Colbert, a 10-piece band to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, and a truly jaw-dropping production to the 2025 GRAMMY Awards (where she was also nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best New Artist). Ultimately, though, what’s most impressive about Doechii isn’t simply that she excels at literally every form she explores. It’s that she is at home in her artistry, wherever it takes her.

"After receiving the Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award in 2023,  Doechii is taking pop culture by storm, this year becoming the third woman in history to win a Grammy best rap album, and dazzling fans of every musical genre with her breathtaking performances, ultra-candid lyrics and utterly unique sound, style and spirit,” said Hannah Karp, Editor-in-Chief of Billboard. "We are thrilled to celebrate Doechii and cheer on her continued success."

Billboard’s Woman of the Year Award has become one of the music industry’s highest honors. Past recipients include Karol G, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Doechii won the Rising Star award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event. She is just the third woman to progress from the Rising Star award to Woman of the Year, following Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

Doechii joins previously announced lineup of powerhouse women shaping the music landscape.  aespa will receive the Group of the Year Award; Ángela Aguilar will receive the Breakthrough Award; Erykah Badu will receive the Icon Award; GloRilla will receive the Powerhouse Award; Gracie Abrams will receive the Songwriter of the Year Award; JENNIE will receive the Global Force Award; Megan Moroney will receive the Rulebreaker Award presented by Crown Royal Whisky; Meghan Trainor will receive the Hitmaker Award; Muni Long will receive the Rising Star Award presented by Honda Stage; and Tyla will receive the Impact Award presented by Bose

Newly announced presenters Becky G and Suki Waterhouse will join previously announced presenters Julia Michaels, Kali Uchis, Madison Beer, Mickey Guyton, Summer Walker, Tanner Adell, and Zara Larsson. Previously announced performers include Ángela Aguilar, aespa, GloRilla, Gracie Abrams, Megan Moroney, Muni Long and Tyla, with additional performers and presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition, as Billboard’s global partners have expanded Women in Music with new events launched around the world, ANNA, named Billboard Italy Woman of the Year at its inaugural ceremony, and Charlotte Cardin, honored as the latest Billboard Canada Woman of the Year by Billboard Canada, will be celebrated as Global Women of the Year.

VIZIO WatchFree+ will be the exclusive home to the Billboard Women in Music 2025 live channel and on-demand collection from March 17 – April 5, with the LIVE show airing free on March 29 at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on VIZIO TVs and in the VIZIO mobile app. The channel and on demand collection will give viewers an inside look at the inspiring women artists shaping the music industry, featuring in-depth interviews, in-studio sessions with artists, episodic series, and more.

VIZIO TV owners can watch Billboard Women in Music 2025 and the LIVE event by opening the WatchFree+ app on their TV.  For those who do not have a VIZIO TV, anyone can download the free VIZIO mobile app to their mobile device, click on the WatchFree+ button in the bottom row menu, and tune into the Billboard Women in Music 2025 channel.

Rolling Stone and Sonesta International Hotels announced the expansion of their Musicians on Musicians partnership: a satellite event series which brings the pages of Rolling Stone’s signature issue to life. Building on last year’s success, the series will grow to a five-city tour in 2025, bringing even more unforgettable artist conversations and exclusive performances to new fans and cities across the United States.

Musicians on Musicians, Rolling Stone’s iconic franchise, pairs established and emerging artists together to discuss their unique creative journeys, life and more. Curated by Rolling Stone editors, the 2025 event series will feature intimate conversations and special performances showcasing artists deeply connected to each city’s unique culture and sound. This bespoke lineup ensures each event is profoundly personal and reflective of each locale’s vibrant musical heritage.

“By expanding to a five-city tour with our partners at Sonesta, we’re bringing unforgettable performances and conversations to some of America’s most musically vibrant cities,” said Gus Wenner, CEO of Rolling Stone. “Musicians on Musicians events give artists a space to share their stories and their mutual admiration, and we’re giving audiences a front-row seat to those moments.”

The tour will kick off on March 24 in Austin, TX, featuring country and Americana artists Charley Crockett and Noeline Hofmann. Fresh off his first Grammy nomination for his album $10 Cowboy, Texas-native Charley Crockett is set to release his highly anticipated album Lonesome Drifter on March 14. Joining Crockett is rapidly rising country music newcomer Noeline Hofmann, known for her recent hit duet with Zach Bryan, “Purple Gas.” In addition to sharing the stage at the Musicians on Musicians event, Hofmann is opening for Crockett on his $10 Cowboy Tour.

Musicians on Musicians Tour Dates and Locations:

  • March 24 | Austin, TX | The Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel
  • May | New Orleans, LA | Royal Sonesta New Orleans
  • June | Washington, DC | The Royal Sonesta Washington, DC
  • September | New York, NY | The Shelburne Sonesta New York
  • November | Portland, OR | Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown

Each event, hosted at a unique and memorable Sonesta hotel, is designed to be an intimate setting where musicians delve into thoughtful conversations about their influences, creative processes, and personal journeys, complemented by unique performances.

“Music plays a vital role in travel, shaping our experiences and memories along the way. It has the power to enhance our journeys, adding depth and emotion to every destination. Through this partnership with Rolling Stone, Sonesta Travel Pass members can further connect with music and travel in a meaningful way,” said John Murray, Sonesta President & CEO. “Music enriches the travel experience, making each trip even more memorable."

While access to the event is invite-only, Sonesta Travel Pass members can reserve their spot through exclusive packaging that unlocks a world of elevated experiences, from priority access and premium seating to bespoke perks.

Last year’s Musicians on Musicians series, presented by Sonesta, featured a sold-out event at the iconic Apollo Theater in New York City, featuring Busta Rhymes, GloRilla, Brittany Howard, and Doechii, as well as satellite events in Chicago at The Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago Downtown and in Miami at the Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach, spotlighting artists such as Common, Noname, Juanes, and Goyo.
