The Golden Globes® announced that acclaimed Golden Globe®, Grammy®, and Emmy®-nominated comedian, writer, and actress Nikki Glaser will return to host the 84th Annual Golden Globes, the first major award show of the season, airing live on Sunday, January 10, 2027 on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.*

Following her widely-praised turn as host in 2025 and 2026, Glaser, who made history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo, is set to bring her sharp wit, fearless humor, and unmistakable voice back to entertainment’s most celebrated night for a third year. Known for her bold comedic style, quick improvisation, and signature roasts, Glaser has consistently captivated audiences with her daring opening monologues. Her most recent monologue garnered nearly 14M+ views in the first 36 hours across Golden Globes social media platforms alone, setting the tone for an unforgettable and celebratory evening honoring the best in film, television, and podcasts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nikki back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027,” said Helen Hoehne, President, Golden Globes. “Her comedic precision, authenticity, and ability to command the room is unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year's show.”

Glaser added, “I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time, not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.”

Glaser has become one of the most prominent voices in comedy. Following a career-defining 2024 when she was named “Comedian of the Year” by The New York Times, Glaser was included on the TIME100: The Most Influential People of 2025 list and continued her momentum with the record-breaking HBO special “Someday You’ll Die,” which earned Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations and a WGA win. She recently made her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live” and continues to tour internationally. With a slate of highly-anticipated projects on the horizon, Glaser will star alongside Kim Kardashian in Eva Longoria’s Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel and will co-write, produce and star in an original comedy inspired by the classic game MASH for Paramount Pictures. Additionally, she will star in, co-write and produce a new romantic comedy for Universal Pictures with Judd Apatow producing. Glaser will next premiere her new Hulu stand-up special “Good Girl” on April 24, 2026.

The Golden Globes, “Hollywood’s Party of the Year®,” is the largest awards show in the world to celebrate the best of film, television, and podcasting. Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the annual Golden Globes, which has been viewed in more than 185 countries and territories worldwide.

The “83rd Annual Golden Globes,” “ET: Live on the Golden Globes Red Carpet,” and new primetime special “Golden Eve” reached a combined 21.77 Million viewers on CBS and Paramount+, according to Nielsen, and 27.07 Million international viewers across 169 territories.

ABOUT RILEY GREEN

ACM and CMA Award winner, Riley Green has been compelling Country music fans to raise a drink, shed a tear, and, above all, celebrate where they are from, since first releasing his self-titled EP in 2018. His songs like the No. 1 2X-PLATINUM hit “There Was This Girl,” the 3X-PLATINUM-certified heart-tugger “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” and his chart-topping collab with Thomas Rhett, “Half Of Me,” have made Riley synonymous with what Country Music does best: making listeners feel something with his no-gimmick, relatable writing and classic feel. An avid sports fan, former athlete (Jacksonville State University quarterback) and outdoorsman, Riley is riding a wave of success after receiving four Academy of Country Music awards, being previously named a MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT “Listen Up Artist,” and one of CRS’s 2020 New Faces. Combs joined Riley on his PLATINUM No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs),” the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut album that he re-recorded with Combs after seeing how fans connected to it. The singer-songwriter’s third studio album, Don't Mind If I Do, produced by Dann Huff, arrived on his birthday, October 18, via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, with more of the signature Riley Green fans have come to know and love from the good ol’ boy who still lives in his hometown of Jacksonville, AL. Most recently, Green released the deluxe version, Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe), which includes six brand new tracks. Currently on an incredible hot streak, Green’s well-earned confidence in his work shines through across the 18-track set with five of the tracks being solely written including standouts “Jesus Saves,” the 3X-PLATINUM “Worst Way” and the title track—which finds Green reuniting with his “you look like you love me” duet partner. Please see dates and learn more at rileygreenmusic.com.

July 15, 2021 New York, NY: Today, Rolling Stone announced Noah Shachtman as Editor-in-Chief. He will officially begin his role on September 8, 2021. Shachtman will lead content, editorial strategy and manage Rolling Stone’s illustrious staff of editors, videographers, designers and reporters. He comes to Rolling Stone from The Daily Beast, where he served as Editor- in-Chief since 2018 and will report into Rolling Stone’s President and COO, Gus Wenner.

Rolling Stone changed my life. Its music journalism helped push me to play in bands for real. Its conflict reporting gave me a north star to aim for when I was a national security reporter. Its gonzo political journalism inspired me as an editor. I can’t wait to work with Rolling Stone’s talented team to write the next chapter of this amazing story. Let’s do this,” said Shachtman.

Prior to beginning his career in journalism, Shachtman was a staffer in the Bill Clinton 1992 presidential campaign and a touring musician. Shachtman has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal, and reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia and elsewhere around the globe. Joining Wired in as a contributing editor in 2006, Shachtman co-founded the Danger Room blog, which won the 2007 Online Journalism Award for Best Beat Reporting and the 2012 National Magazine Award for reporting in digital media. During his tenure at The Daily Beast, he helped turn the site into a “journalistic scoop factory,” according to the Poynter Institute.

“Noah is a brilliant editor and journalist and has deep expertise running a digital first operation, which will be critical to our continued growth,” said Wenner. “As iconic as Rolling Stone’s past is, I could not be more excited about our future with this team in place.”

Over the past several years Rolling Stone has grown substantially, expanding its presence across platforms and widening its global footprint. In addition to its website, social media channels and print magazine, Rolling Stone recently announced a multiyear partnership with streaming platform Twitch, and produced a range of podcasts and notable film projects this year. While business model diversification is a focus, award-winning journalism remains the cornerstone of the brand identity.

About Rolling Stone

Five decades since its founding, Rolling Stone today has evolved into a multi-platform content brand with unrivalled access and authority, reaching a global audience of over 60 million people per month. Staying true to its mission to tell exceptional stories that illuminate the culture of our times, Rolling Stone is an authority for music reviews, in-depth interviews, hard-hitting political commentary and award-winning journalism across print, digital, mobile, video, social and events. Penske Media, one of the largest media companies worldwide joins the IAB Newfronts for the first time, celebrating its 24 brand portfolio, and revealing what recent partnership with premier culture festival SXSW has in store for the company's future.

May 6, 2021: Penske Media Corporation (PMC), owner of Variety, Rolling Stone and Deadline made its debut at the IAB NewFronts with a celebratory film highlighting its expansive 24 brand portfolio presented by PMC’s Chief Partnerships Officer, Mark Howard.  Howard joined PMC in May 2020 along with Mike Monroe, PMC’s Chief Marketing Officer. Their appointments mark a strategic effort by the company to build a corporate-level infrastructure offering meaningful business-driving synergies across the prestigious and iconic portfolio.  The video, a collaboration between PMC Studios and Penske Media’s own LDJ Productions, emphasized the opportunity for advertisers looking to leverage the scale, cultural relevance and dominance of Penske Media’s brands across entertainment, music, fashion and more.

“Although 2020 was a challenging year, our team was creative and prolific.  This year we focused on platform innovation and expansion, and launched our proprietary first party data platform, Atlas Data Studio.  We are lucky to have content that speaks to our audiences’ passions across film, television, music, fashion, art, luxury, parenting and more” said Howard. “This year felt like the right time to come to the NewFronts and share our progress developing activations for PMC’s audiences and data-centric solutions to curate and target content more effectively to our highly engaged audiences.”

Another differentiating opportunity PMC highlighted for advertisers is SHE Media’s Meaningful Marketplace, a community of over 2,000 premium, minority-owned sites built to enable greater opportunity for under-served publishers.  SHE Media’s collective network allows advertisers to attain audience reach and efficiency while investing in under-served markets.

“We are excited to show our partners that PMC continues to be synonymous with culture, quality and unparalleled reach. In 2020, we strengthened our constellation of brands with the addition of The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Vibe, Sportico, LDJ Productions and most recently SXSW. Adding these names to sit alongside current portfolio titles like Variety, Rolling Stone and SHE Media and Robb Report, creates a new dimension of opportunity for partners to work with Penske Media as a whole. We look forward to sharing our brand story and the power of what we can do as we tap into one of the most engaged audiences in the marketplace,” said Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Monroe.

PMC’s most recent investment in SXSW will further connect audiences to content that celebrates human connection and one-of-a-kind experiences, complementing, elevating, and inspiring each brand’s unique offerings.

In accordance with PMC’s dedication to delivering compelling and meaningful experiences, the company commissioned rising star, Moxarra Gonzalez, a Mexican artist, to create a limited edition NFT (Non-Fungible Token) for a select number of attendees. This one-of-a-kind token features an artistic digital mashup of PMC’s iconic brand logos. Gonzalez was selected by the editors at Penske Media’s ARTnews.

With a modern look showcasing its indepth reporting, world-class photography & video, and feature exclusives, the updates mark THR’s first website redesign since 2014 and a new chapter for the brand since becoming a part of Penske Media Corporation (PMC) in September 2020.

Reimagined around THR’s 91-year-old mission of celebrating world-class reporting and connecting readers to their passions, Hollywoodreporter.com features a new design reflective of the brand’s clean, distinguished style, a breaking news banner that will alert visitors to the top stories of the moment, and a faster, more flexible home page, allowing readers to explore the stories they’re interested in and delve into the topics they care about most.
