The Golden Globes® announced that acclaimed Golden Globe®, Grammy®, and Emmy®-nominated comedian, writer, and actress Nikki Glaser will return to host the 84th Annual Golden Globes, the first major award show of the season, airing live on Sunday, January 10, 2027 on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.*

Following her widely-praised turn as host in 2025 and 2026, Glaser, who made history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo, is set to bring her sharp wit, fearless humor, and unmistakable voice back to entertainment’s most celebrated night for a third year. Known for her bold comedic style, quick improvisation, and signature roasts, Glaser has consistently captivated audiences with her daring opening monologues. Her most recent monologue garnered nearly 14M+ views in the first 36 hours across Golden Globes social media platforms alone, setting the tone for an unforgettable and celebratory evening honoring the best in film, television, and podcasts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nikki back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027,” said Helen Hoehne, President, Golden Globes. “Her comedic precision, authenticity, and ability to command the room is unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year's show.”

Glaser added, “I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time, not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.”

Glaser has become one of the most prominent voices in comedy. Following a career-defining 2024 when she was named “Comedian of the Year” by The New York Times, Glaser was included on the TIME100: The Most Influential People of 2025 list and continued her momentum with the record-breaking HBO special “Someday You’ll Die,” which earned Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations and a WGA win. She recently made her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live” and continues to tour internationally. With a slate of highly-anticipated projects on the horizon, Glaser will star alongside Kim Kardashian in Eva Longoria’s Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel and will co-write, produce and star in an original comedy inspired by the classic game MASH for Paramount Pictures. Additionally, she will star in, co-write and produce a new romantic comedy for Universal Pictures with Judd Apatow producing. Glaser will next premiere her new Hulu stand-up special “Good Girl” on April 24, 2026.

The Golden Globes, “Hollywood’s Party of the Year®,” is the largest awards show in the world to celebrate the best of film, television, and podcasting. Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the annual Golden Globes, which has been viewed in more than 185 countries and territories worldwide.

The “83rd Annual Golden Globes,” “ET: Live on the Golden Globes Red Carpet,” and new primetime special “Golden Eve” reached a combined 21.77 Million viewers on CBS and Paramount+, according to Nielsen, and 27.07 Million international viewers across 169 territories.

*Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on-demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.

ABOUT RILEY GREEN

ACM and CMA Award winner, Riley Green has been compelling Country music fans to raise a drink, shed a tear, and, above all, celebrate where they are from, since first releasing his self-titled EP in 2018. His songs like the No. 1 2X-PLATINUM hit “There Was This Girl,” the 3X-PLATINUM-certified heart-tugger “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” and his chart-topping collab with Thomas Rhett, “Half Of Me,” have made Riley synonymous with what Country Music does best: making listeners feel something with his no-gimmick, relatable writing and classic feel. An avid sports fan, former athlete (Jacksonville State University quarterback) and outdoorsman, Riley is riding a wave of success after receiving four Academy of Country Music awards, being previously named a MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT “Listen Up Artist,” and one of CRS’s 2020 New Faces. Combs joined Riley on his PLATINUM No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs),” the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut album that he re-recorded with Combs after seeing how fans connected to it. The singer-songwriter’s third studio album, Don't Mind If I Do, produced by Dann Huff, arrived on his birthday, October 18, via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, with more of the signature Riley Green fans have come to know and love from the good ol’ boy who still lives in his hometown of Jacksonville, AL. Most recently, Green released the deluxe version, Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe), which includes six brand new tracks. Currently on an incredible hot streak, Green’s well-earned confidence in his work shines through across the 18-track set with five of the tracks being solely written including standouts “Jesus Saves,” the 3X-PLATINUM “Worst Way” and the title track—which finds Green reuniting with his “you look like you love me” duet partner. Please see dates and learn more at rileygreenmusic.com.

“We have long admired ATX’s commitment to creating unique content that celebrates every aspect of television,” said CEO and Founder of Penske Media, Jay Penske. “Emily and Caitlin have built an incredible community and world class programming over the years, and we look forward to helping them expand their footprint for an even bigger audience in the future.”

“Our vision for ATX TV is expansive,” said McFarland. “We have always had our eyes on creating year- round programming and engagement, but the pandemic marked an inflection point for us all.  We realized that we needed to expand to digital content and grow beyond a yearly festival to service our business and our audience.  Our partners needed more opportunities to reach audiences and our audience needed one another — but we, ATX TV, also needed more resources to achieve our very big goals.  We are so proud of all we have done with our team, but we are ready for our next chapter of growth and are thrilled to have Penske Media as partners to help us achieve it together.”

“It’s hard to believe the first festival was ten years ago,” said Gipson. “At that time, we had no idea what it would become, but our vision has always remained the same: to create an inclusive destination for industry and consumer audiences to come together as one community to celebrate TV. Over the past decade, we have focused on creating curated content and producing high quality experiences that have allowed audiences to discover, discuss, debate, collaborate, interact, and enjoy all things television. Now with the support of Jay and Penske Media, we know the possibilities are endless of how we can grow our vision together.”

ATX Television Festival Season 12 will take place June 1-4, 2023. Badges are on sale now.  For more information on the festival visit: https://atxfestival.com/

About ATX TV

ATX TV is the parent company of ATX Festival, an annual event produced by ATX TV, taking place every June in Austin, TX. As the leading television festival, it brings together fans and industry to celebrate the television medium by looking at its history, where it is now, and where it is headed. The festival consists of screenings followed by Q&As, panels, and events (parties, live music, meet-ups, super-secret happy hours, etc) and is known for reunions of both classic shows and cult hits. Screenings showcase never-aired pilots, canceled too soon series, and current favorites, as well as world premieres of new series. Panels span from industry deep dives to fan-focused conversations, along with discussions on representation (in front of and behind the camera) and responsibility in storytelling. The ATX TV audience is comprised equally of consumers and industry professionals, and ATX Television Festival is the only place they come together as one community to discuss and celebrate all aspects of #TVTogether. The Syndication Project (TSP) is a non-profit (501c3) that works in conjunction with ATX TV.
