This summer, he’ll launch the North American leg of his “One Last Time,” world tour, a box office smash which grossed among The Top 20 Global Concert Tours of 2024, and he’ll return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace May–June and September-October 2025 with “The Encore Shows.”

Hosted by global superstar Jennifer Lopez, the American Music Awards will air live coast-to-coast on Monday, May 26 at 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT on CBS and Paramount+.*
Taking place during May’s Military Appreciation Month, the American Music Awards x Easy Day moments will include two performances and the presentation of a special award honoring a marquee talent who uses their platform to make meaningful contributions to the Veteran community, as well as inspirational stories from active-duty service members and veterans.
In-show fundraising moments (now accepting donations at easyday.org/amas) will benefit Veteran service organizations across the country, including the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Boot Campaign, Congressional Medal of Honor Society, Fisher House, The Folded Flag Foundation, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Team Rubicon, and UNLV’s Military and Veteran Services Center. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Easy Day Foundation and its partners, and a portion of audience seating will be reserved for veteran attendees in recognition of their service.
Founded by Frank Fertitta IV and Landon Gyulay, the Easy Day Foundation is a 501(c)(3) grant-making nonprofit committed to helping Veterans transition to civilian life by addressing critical needs including mental health care, job training, placement, and family support services.

“Partnering with the AMAs gives us a powerful platform to elevate the stories of our veterans and amplify the mission of Easy Day,” said Landon Gyulay, co-founder of Easy Day Foundation. “These brave men and women have given their all for our freedom and our AMAs partnership allows us to turn national attention into national action on their behalf.”
Gerry Byrne, Vice Chairman of Penske Media Corporation (PMC) and a Marine Corps Vietnam combat Veteran, adds "PMC and Dick Clark Productions are deeply honored to spotlight our nation’s heroes through this meaningful partnership with Easy Day Foundation and the most preeminent organizations supporting our nation’s heroes. The transition from service to civilian life isn’t easy and these special moments during the AMAs shine a much-needed light on the real challenges Veterans face and the critical support systems required to help them navigate life after service.”

Today, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the nominations for the “2025 American Music Awards” (AMAs), which will kick off summer with host Jennifer Lopez live from Las Vegas on Monday, May 26. Promising to be a night of unforgettable performances, including from Lopez herself, the 51st AMAs will air live coast to coast at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.*
Fan voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAsInstagram profile in all award categories. Voting closes on Thursday, May 15 at 11:59:59pm PT, with the exception of Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year, which will remain open through the first 30 minutes of the AMAs broadcast.
The “2025 American Music Awards” winners are voted entirely by fans. Nominees are based on key fan interactions - as reflected on the Billboard charts - including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay and tour grosses. These measurements are tracked by Billboard and Luminate, the entertainment industry's most trusted data partner, and cover the data tracking eligibility period of March 22, 2024 through March 20, 2025.
“2025 American Music Awards” Nominee Highlights:
- Kendrick Lamar, who already has three American Music Awards to his name, leads this year’s nominations with a total of 10. He is nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“GNX”), Song of the Year (“Not Like Us”), Collaboration of the Year (“Luther” with SZA), Favorite Music Video (“Not Like Us”), Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Hip-Hop Album (“GNX”), Favorite Hip-Hop Song (x3 - “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, “Not Like Us,” and “Luther” with SZA). He could tie Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most awards in a single year should he win in all eight categories.
- Post Malone has previously taken home awards in the Rap/Hip Hop and Pop/Rock categories. He could add to that list with possible wins for Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Album (“F-1 Trillion”), and Favorite Country Song (“I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen) this year. He is also nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“F-1 Trillion”), Song of the Year (“I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen), and Collaboration of the Year (x2 - “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen and “Fortnight” with Taylor Swift), for a total of eight.
- After taking home the New Artist of the Year trophy in 2019, Billie Eilish continues to dominate with nominations for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“HIT ME HARD AND SOFT”), Song of the Year (“Birds of a Feather”), Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Pop Album (“HIT ME HARD AND SOFT”), and Favorite Pop Song (“Birds of a Feather”).
- First time nominee Chappell Roan tied Billie’s seven nominations, with a chance to take home trophies for Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”), Song of the Year (“Good Luck, Babe!”), Social Song of the Year (“HOT TO GO!”), Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album (“The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”). Roan is also the only artist to be nominated in all three of this year’s exciting new categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Social Song of the Year.
- Also entering the AMAs chat for the first time, Shaboozey received seven nominations, including New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”), Social Song of the Year (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”), Favorite Music Video (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”), Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Album (“Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going”), and Favorite Country Song (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”).
- Other first time nominees include Benson Boone, Doechii, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Lola Young, The Marias, ROSÉ, Teddy Swims, Tommy Richman, Tyla, as well as Artist of the Year nominees Sabrina Carpenter and Zach Bryan.
- Taylor Swift, the winningest artist in AMAs history, could add to her record-shattering 40 wins this year, having been nominated in six categories including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“The Tortured Poets Department”), Collaboration of the Year (“Fortnight” featuring Post Malone), Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album (“The Tortured Poets Department”).
- In addition to an Album of the Year nod for “COWBOY CARTER,” Beyoncé is in the running for Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album.
- Hozier’s standout year earned five nominations including Song of the Year (“Too Sweet”), Favorite Male Pop Artist, Favorite Rock Artist, Favorite Rock Album (“Unreal Unearth: Unending”), and Favorite Rock Song (“Too Sweet”). He would become a first time American Music Award winner should he take home the trophy in any of these categories.

January 3, 2025 - New York, NY: In a distinguished ceremony held this morning in New York City, Gerry Byrne, PMC’s Vice Chairman and veteran Marine Officer, was honored with the U.S. Navy’s top civilian accolade, the Distinguished Public Service Award. Presented by Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy, the award recognized Mr. Byrne’s outstanding service of substantial and long-term benefit to the Department of the Navy.
First established in 1951, the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award stands as the highest tribute that the Secretary of the Navy can bestow upon a civilian not employed by the Department of the Navy. This prestigious award highlights Mr.Byrne’s lifelong commitment to supporting military and veteran communities through various and extensive initiatives and board memberships.
“I am honored to bestow the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award to MarineCorps Vietnam Veteran Mr. Gerry Byrne,” said Del Toro. “His unwavering support of our Nation’s veterans, paired with his belief in participation and his innovative initiatives and leadership, has greatly enhanced our Department of the Navy’s community engagement. His contributions to our military are incalculable.”

Penske Media Corporation (PMC), the leading global media, live events and data analytics company, recently released findings from their pop culture study, Power of Shared Cultural Connections. The study explores the powerful impact of shared cultural moments and immersive events on consumer engagement, revealing that these experiences resonate profoundly with audiences, foster lifelong memories and community bonds, and offer brands a unique opportunity to cultivate loyalty and engagement through these immersive events.
“At PMC, our research shows that brands have a unique opportunity to be a part of cultural moments by engaging in shared experiences which forge deep emotional connections and loyalty that traditional media channels cannot match,” said Dan Owen, EVP, GM, Strategic Solutions Group at PMC. “As a conduit for creating these collective experiences, PMC helps our partners tap into the power of pop culture and immersive events, embedding themselves in the memories that shape fandoms.”
Key takeaways from the “Power of Shared Cultural Connections” study include:
Major pop culture experiences are a pathway to lifelong memories and provide the thrill of unexpected connection. At a moment in time when much of the world is more isolated than ever, audiences want moments that fuel gratitude and bring us closer to ourselves and each other. 77% say major pop culture experiences are a source of lifelong memories, and 72% seek out pop culture events that offer immersion into the worlds of their favorite shows, movies and artists (86% among Gen Z respondents).
Shared cultural experiences are powerful community builders, particularly when they resonate deeply with the audience’s passions and interests. The more personal and human the stories surrounding the moment are, the more impactful it becomes. 63% seek out pop culture experiences that offer deeper connections to personal interests, and 56% of Gen Z respondents say that they seek out pop culture events that offer deeper community connections with like-minded fans.
Events are always in the plans. 92% plan to attend or wish to attend pop cultural events, including music, film, and art festivals, concerts, immersive experiences and exhibits, in the next year.
Award shows are a vital part of pop culture, connecting us with our favorite artists and acting as a unifying force that creates memorable historical moments. 87% of audiences identify as being“obsessed” or “casual” fans of major award shows. Award shows foster community, with 58% saying they talk to their friends and family about them.
Brands have an incredible power as the facilitators of shared cultural connection. Creating exclusive access that brings fans closer to those moments, and the artists they love most, yields extreme loyalty. 63% consider themselves a super fan of a musician (80% of Gen Z) with 43% saying that if their favorite music artist wears/endorses something, it influences their purchase decision. Additionally, 52% would feel more loyal to a brand if it provided access to live-streamed cultural events.
The findings of PMC’s Power of Shared Cultural Connections study demonstrate that shared cultural moments profoundly influence consumer engagement. This research highlights the critical role that brands play in facilitating these vital connections and creating experiences that not only build emotional ties but also foster enduring loyalty.

Report Methodology
In August 2024, Penske Media Corporation (PMC) surveyed a highly targeted segment of 1200 engaged, pop-culturally aware individuals to explore their interest and interaction with live experiences, events, and key cultural moments; as well as the significance these hold for fans, artists, and the brands that make them happen. This study incorporates a blend of qualitative, quantitative, and first-party data, with a spotlight on distinct generational groups: Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers.

Today, ARTnews announced the launch of its first-ever ARTnews Awards, a new editorial project honoring excellence in art achievements at US arts institutions. Winners will be announced online on December 4 and celebrated during a cocktail reception that evening in Miami coinciding with Art Basel. Categories include Emerging Artist of the Year, Established Artist of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Best Thematic Museum Show, and Best Gallery Group Show.

To select the winners, each juror submitted one to three candidates per category, with the full jury voting to select five final nominees per category. A second meeting was conducted to select the winners for each category.

These are annual industry awards that artists, curators, and institutions will be proud to receive, and that will mark an exciting new moment on the calendar.”– Sarah Douglas, Editor-In-Chief, ARTnews.
