New York, NY (January 1, 2026) – ABC and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), the world’s largest owner and producer of televised live event entertainment programming, once again proved that “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026” (NYRE) remains the destination for New Year’s Eve, delivering hours of live performances and celebrations from across the country, culminating in the iconic countdown to midnight in New York’s Times Square. Now in its more than 50th year, the celebration returned with its most expansive broadcast to date, featuring 42 superstar performers across New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and beyond. Las Vegas closed out the night with the city’s largest-ever New Year’s Eve fireworks display, launched simultaneously from 10 casinos along the Strip.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Rita Ora from New York’s Times Square, the multi-city celebration spanned the nation with GRAMMY®-winning Chicago native Chance the Rapper leading NYRE’s first-ever live Central Time Zone countdown from Chicago. In Las Vegas, NFL legend Rob Gronkowski returned alongside Julianne Hough in her NYRE co-hosting debut, while actress and producer Roselyn Sánchez hosted from Puerto Rico.
This year’s broadcast expanded with an additional hour and a half of programming and delivered the soundtrack of the year, representing more than 925 million total monthly Spotify listeners and 102 billion streams across nearly 100 songs performed throughout the night. For the third year, NYRE aired live across 150+ iHeartRadio stations nationwide and streamed live on the iHeartRadio app, including Z100 New York, KIIS-FM Los Angeles, KISS FM Chicago, Q102 Philly, THE NEW MIX 102.9 Dallas, and more.

- Legendary music icon Diana Ross rang in 2026 with a live headlining performance from Times Square, ushering in the new year with a career-spanning medley of classics including “I’m Coming Out,” “The Boss,” “Upside Down,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and “Tomorrow.”
- R&B powerhouse Ciara energized the Times Square crowd with a high-energy medley featuring “Level Up,” “The Party Has Just Begun,” “Goodies,” “Oh,” “Low,” and “1, 2 Step,” with portions mashed up with “Nice n’ Sweet” and “Whatz Up, Whatz Up,” backed by a full dance ensemble.
- K-pop trailblazers LE SSERAFIM delivered a dynamic global moment from the Times Square stage with a performance of “SPAGHETTI” and “CRAZY.”
- GRAMMY® Award-winning country group Little Big Town brought country hits to Times Square with a celebratory medley of “Better Man,” “Boondocks,” and “Wine Beer Whiskey.”
- GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris, in a performance sponsored by Carnival Cruise Line, delivered a standout set featuring “The Bones,” “80s Mercedes,” and “The Middle.”
All eyes were on Las Vegas as Rob Gronkowski and Julianne Hough led a star-studded lineup of performances:
- AJR brought high-energy anthems with performances of “Bang!” and “The Big Goodbye.”
- The All-American Rejects delivered crowd-pleasing favorites including “Move Along” and a medley of “Dirty Little Secret” and “Easy Come, Easy Go.”
- Mariah Carey, the five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning global icon, dipped into some of her most canonical hits including “Obsessed,” “In Your Feelings,” and “It’s Like That.”
- New Kids on the Block energized the crowd with “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” followed by “The Whisper” and a rousing transition into “Shout.”
