Ryan T. Young serves as PMC’s Chief Security Officer, leading PMC’s security functions across the organization. Ryan comes to PMC after almost thirty years of US Government service. Ryan was most recently one of six executive assistant directors for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington DC. He served as the strategic leader of the FBI’s Intelligence Program and drove collaboration and full integration of intelligence and operations throughout the organization. He led FBI partnerships with the intelligence community, academia, private sector, local law enforcement, foreign partners, and faith-based communities to ensure timely intelligence was developed and shared to mitigate risks and threats.
Prior to this role, Ryan served as the assistant director of the Directorate of Intelligence, where he was responsible for the direction and oversight of the FBI’s intelligence program, intelligence technology, human intelligence, and foreign language programs. In 2018, Ryan was the special agent in charge of the counterterrorism division in Los Angeles, where he led all international and domestic terrorism investigations in the Los Angeles region and Southeast Asia. He also led all crisis management and response assets including the SWAT team, evidence response team, bomb technicians, and rapid mobility programs.
Ryan also served in other FBI leadership positions in Dallas, Miami, and FBI Headquarters. Prior to the FBI, Ryan was an officer in the US Air Force and earned a master’s degree from Western Oregon University in Criminal Administration and Counseling.
