Kate works across PMC brands and oversees engagement with government partners, nonprofit organizations, and PMC’s philanthropic initiatives.
In her previous role as Associate Publisher of Artforum, Koza oversaw operational strategy and digital expansion initiatives, as well as programming partnerships and advertising relationships with museums and nonprofit institutions across the country. She facilitated Artforum’s inaugural live event series, with conversations hosted in prominent museums and institutions across the U.S., as well as Artforum event activations at SXSW. She brings a cross-disciplinary and focused approach to relationship-building with external partners, prioritizing expanded awareness, engagement, and access to ensure editorial and programming initiatives reach new audiences and center connection to broader cultural conversations.
Prior to joining Artforum, Kate worked across the public sector, holding positions bridging programming, editorial, and communications with the New-York Historical Society, the U.S. Senate, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. She graduated summa cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in journalism, political science, and art history from the University of Miami and holds a master’s degree in public relations and strategic communication from Georgetown University.
A Brooklyn resident, she is a dedicated volunteer with local organizations and initiatives focused on urban greenspace access and public history education, including the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, the Center for Brooklyn History at Brooklyn Public Library, and the Fort Greene Park Conservancy.
