Jerry Ruiz is PMC's Vice President of Acquisitions and Operations. In his role, he oversees the business operations and the editorial and business leadership of The Hollywood Reporter, IndieWire, The American Pavilion, BGR and LDJ Productions.
Ruiz joined PMC in 2020 and has more than 20 years of experience in business management and corporate finance. Most recently, he oversaw financial operations and revenue as vice president of financial planning and analysis for MRC. Prior to that, Ruiz spent 6 years at The Hollywood Reporter, working his way up from a senior sales analyst to finance director.
He spent 4 years as the president of Daily Grind Unwind, a national coffee house and café chain, 3 years as a senior financial planner at CUSO, and 7 years as an assistant vice president in premier banking and investment consulting at Bank of America.
Ruiz received a B.S. and master's in business administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
